Revisiting my unhealthy relationship with food

Past bodybuilding days ruined my hormones. After two years of not hitting it hard and stopping the neurotic eating, I'm slowly learning to be happy with my body. I went the opposite direction and gained about 20lbs. In the years prior I got down to 7% bodyfat (per a doctor visit) at my lowest point. She flipped out on me and thats when I knew I had to stop what I was doing. I do continue to lift weights. Muscle memory is a great perk. I just don't want to slip back into the crazy business of unhealthy "fitness" again. Down 135 as of today. Being 5'3" and 17% bodyfat isn't so bad.

Food can be a double edge sword, it will sustain us but can be a trigger for other behavoirs. It's good the doctor will call you out and try to help you understand that this is the only body we have and try to take care of it as best as possible. My mind is a bad neighborhood to go into alone so I have support wherever and whenever I find I need it and this is one place as well.
