Sleep on keto

I seem to be sleeping in my opinion too much. I go to bed anywhere between 11-1 and barely able to drag my self out of before 12:30. That is the latest. It is usually between 10:30 -11:30.This has been going on since after Thanksgiving. If I have to get up I can do it but the day is bad.
I started Keto 1/6/20 which today makes a week. So far I am not seeing a change in my sleeping habits. I am not that active of a person so I am not sleeping to recover from activity. I battled the flu after Christmas, Shingles and kidney stones moving. I know that is a lot but I have done it before and it did not hit me like with sleep.
Any advice is welcomed but please don’t be mean about it. I just came back on here and I am hoping the niceness, friendliness and the helpfulness has not changed.
From before, there were some of the nicest people on here that anyone could ever have hoped for.

You could try an alarm and wake up? Sleeping is good for losing weight.. when I can I try to get as much as I can in... However if you are very tired you may want to go to the doctor and get some tests done... maybe you are low on something. Best wishes

I suggest that you talk to your doctor. Diet and exercise might have some impact on your sleeping patterns but not to this extent. You might have developed sleep apnea or some other condition that needs to be treated.

Started Keto first of the year and its a learning curve but go to the Doctor and get a physical so you understand what your body is going thru. Some health plans offer a supervised program with your nutritionist working with you and it will keep me honest. Also committed to a daily workout at my local gym. It helps to have all the support you can get so good luck and things can get better.
