Any foods that in the past have been deep-fried, I only cook in my Air Fryer, actually even veg that use to be roasted.
This way of cooking obviously cuts the fat down dramatically.
But here's a thing, I can not seem to find nutritional facts on Air Fried foods. And when I check in my Carb & Calorie Counter book it also assumes crumbed products will be deep-fried and the fat content goes up.
Is there anyone who would be able to advise me as to how I get that sort of info, please?
Although I live in South Africa, it really doesn't matter, as I suspect I am not alone in wanting this info.
It would be really good if FatSecrets could incorporate this information into their data basis.
Thank you

Just an idea: Wouldn't air-fried nutritional values be very close to those if the specific foods were either baked or steamed?
