What helped me to go from 36 to 32 in the waist was to eat healthy, use portion control, and exercise at least 5 days a week. The body is one unit, so in my opinion you shouldn't try to focus on just one area. Exercise your body as a whole and I think you'll get better results. The tummy, back, love handles, chest & thighs all work together when we do movements like sitting, walking, reaching, lifting, bending, twisting, etc. So do exercises that focuses on that whole area at the same time. Cardio plays a huge part in burning fat also so try to get some good cardio workouts in at least 3 to 4 times a week. Good luck!
