Hi everyone! I am 19yr old girl and am trying to loose 10-20 lb and keep it off! I know its not heaps but if i don't start now it might as well be! I am on no special diet, just generally trying to cut the junk and eat smaller portions, drink more water and exercise! I am looking for a buddy so that we can motivate each other and share ideas! I'd prefer someone in a similar situation to me, but if your interested then I'd be glad to be your buddy!

cutting out junk food is good. But also if you like it you can stille at it in moderation. My diet is protion control. I can still have chips but in moderation. So it is like a treat for me. I basicaly use it as a grain serving. Cutting out the stuff you love is hard. I know that for a fact. I am a big sweets and junk food eater. but with the diet I am on I can add them in but only on specail occassions.

I am here if you want a buddy. I may need to lose mroe than you. But I am great with support and encouragement!!!

hey stacey!! I'm in need of a buddy too!!!!!!!!
but my goal is a bit more than yours... because i'm so short I should be weighing about 115 so ive got about 60 lbs to go..
but we can still motivate each other!! are you a member of a gym at all?

wow you've got almost the same 10-20 i'm going for! doesn't it feel like that last little bit is such a pain?? i know in my case i started getting a little comfortable, and frankly a little scared of losing the rest of the wieght ( what if it wasn't enough? what if i tried and din't lose anything?) but i'm over it now, the time has come and i've been holding on to that last 10-20 for too long!! i'm with ya!! =)

Me too! I am in a very similar situation. I want/need some motivation to keep up the work out regimine...but i want to eat a little healthier, and try to knock off some more lbs. I've lost probably about 5-10 in the last month or so. but i want to keep going!

How does a "buddy system" work!?!?

Hmmm. I have mine set up to automatically accept follow requests. Perhaps if you go into Settings and change your preference to automatically approve follow requests it will allow those you have to go ...

Im hanging in there but have read about someone losing 77lb in 3 months. I just wonder how that was done. Mine looks miserable compared to that.
