Good Morning, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Shawn, I am a stay at home Mom of 2 children. Tanner is 7 years old and Ashlyn is 8 months. I live in Michigan and after struggling with my weight pretty much all of my life I have decided enough is enough and I am going to make a lifestyle change! I had been on WW before and was successful in losing 16 pounds but then got preggo with Ashlyn and it all came back...and then some! I rejoined last week and as of today I have lost 4 pounds. I found this site in a search and think it is wonderful. I look forward to making new friends and enjoying our successes together!

Hi! I have one 2 year old daughter, and I am a stay at home also. I live in Texas now but I lived in Michigan for 11 years! My family lives in Traverse City, do you know where that is? I have struggled with my weight for many years also, up, down and back again. I got really big, then really skinny, then just kinda big, and dumpy. Smile I am trying hard to get back in shape for spring!!

I'm a newbie, too! I have been dieting most of my life and am a former WW follower as well. My plan of attack this time around is to, above all, force the exercise. I found a great link on here for a training plan to go from "couch-to-5k" in 9 weeks and I am going to do it! If I have learned anything from all of my failures in the past to keep the weight off, it's that I am going to have to exercise and keep it up for the rest of my life if I ever hope to maintain the weight loss. Good luck on your journey! I'm right there along side you.

Hello Mom2two,
Good luck with your diet. I know I have lost and gained for the last 7 years. I finally realized that dieting was not for me. I would start one program after another. Lost and gained the weight back and then some. So you sound like you are in the right mind set. I got fed up and decided in August when my scales hit 186 to get my but in gear and get the weight off and keep it off. So good luck and welcome

Thanks Ladies for the kind welcome. I am very excited to meet all of you and create a great support system. I went to WW for the first time tonight and I was a pound lighter than my home scale had me so I was even more encouraged lol.....I will do the meetings for a month and then I may try to go it online since my meetings don't have child friendly meetings. Its too hard for me to go without my 8 month old. Anyhoo, thanks again and if you have any tips, recipes etc...please share! Hugs
