I have been on a no sugar, bread, cookies, crackers for many months. I am eating
mostly animal products for the fat content. I am trying to get my body to burn
fat for energy instead of sugar.

to lippybeth, you look fine in your wagon, by the way I also refused to take
statin drugs, because every person alive needs cholestrol. your brain is 90%
cholestrol. Your body makes cholestrol so it can't be all that bad. bye

to mickh: you must add an avacado in your diet for some good fat. I noticed your symbol for your picture is an avacado,
HINT.

That is definitely a good start for anyone wanting to lose weight. A diet should be interpreted as a way of eating. Healthy, without the sugars and starches and processed stuff...just real wholesome food. I use banana and apple as substitutes for sugar in oatmeal, bars, etc... cinnamon instead of butter on sweet potato, yogurt on baked potato, and seasoning on veggies instead of salt.

25 Fibers a day is also recommended as well as proper protein intake. It is doable and i don't feel hungry. I plan my meals ahead here, so i can tweek them if necessary to reach targets. This is a great site and i am so happy to have found it.

I try with all my might not to eat anything that has been processed or at least overly processed. Anyone else find American Cheese appalling? I also avoid carbs, sugars, wheat products etc. I keep my carbs below 20 daily. Also another thing I've recently been practicing, I only eat my calories, I don't drink them. It works for me. YMMV. Happy Hump Day!
