Well I am going to start the diet again soon. I had been on the Extreme in August and lost 17 lbs. but then I had shoulder surgery in Sept. and well I didn't feel enthused any more. I get the sling off my arm on Wed, I hope, then I will think about starting over again. Still can't exercise, I think that is what is holding me back. But maybe I can just diet for a while, till I heal up. Reading other's posts has encouraged me to try, so we'll see. Thanks all!

I know this question was asked before, but I couldn't find the response! What is the Extreme fat diet? I have heard it referred to before.

Congrats on the 17 pounds (17 right?) that is terrific!

Take care,

Extreme Fat Smash is a more intense/condensed version of the Fat Smash diet that the celebrities use on VH1's celebrity fitclub.

Oh, wow! Thanks for explaining! I have been playing around with weight loss efforts since this summer and don't even use this site consistently, even though I think it's great! But I finally have found a "life plan" that I LOVE. I take Isagenix products and I feel UNbelievably good! I read about them in John Gray's Men are from Mars; Women are from Venus book because he recommends them for "happy brain chemistry" to enhance relationships. Boy do I agree! I have more energy, more stable moods, just feel more patient, calm, but don't get fatigued or crave junk food, etc. It's been great. And I've lost 6 pounds so far and I have just started this week. I have also been exercising regularly, but it's been easier since I have the positive mental attitude to do so! Smile

Yes, the extreme is a condensed version. I have never tried the Fat Smash Diet, just the extreme. I did lose 17 lbs on it last time in approx 5 weeks. I am the type of person that needs a jump start to keep going. I figure once I get rid of 15 lbs. I can go on the Fat Smash Diet and continue on from there. I just need a little boost. I completed my first day back on the diet yesterday and felt good. No exercise yet, though, shoulder issues, but at least I am back on the diet. Exercise will come soon. I wish everyone luck with any diet they try.

The mental condition can be the cause of bad metabolism. And it affects diet and weight loss. You must stay positive and motivated by going towards your goal.

Drink lots of water. If you can, try drinking the Benefiber packets in your bottled water. It keeps you feeling full which helps during the detox phase and it helps with bloat, belly fat, and energy.
