Anyone else with IBS on here?

I've been Struggling with it for few years now. Turned my lifestyle around to ease it and got help with stress/anxiety.

But last 6 month or so condition seem to have worsened and I get severe episodes which takes days to recover from.

Giving a go to Low FODMAP as recommended by GP, but finding it incredibly hard to stick with it. Crying or Very sad

I don't follow it, but it's a very restrictive diet. Your best bet is to get recipes books on it, and make yourself 'go to recipes'. best of luck.

I"m borderline IBS too, and my list of safe foods is shrinking with time. Low FODMAP food list is on my fridge and I live by it. I also have severe intolerance to peppers, so that's another veggie I can't eat. I basically live on spinach, zucchini, green beans and lettuce. Occasional cucumber and tomato salad (in summer, with feta and olives, yum!). I must say bread (in moderation) doesn't bother me too much. 2 weeks ago I ate asparagus and I wanted to die!! If you have any good recipe please share! I just made a pretty good zucchini soup, super basic but I love it.

After several years of experiencing digestive problems from eating certain foods, I finally spoke with my doctor about the problem. She recommended I try an enzyme supplement. I'm so glad I took her advice seriously because I can now eat anything! There are a number of enzyme supplements (aka pro-biotics) on the market but you need to know which one(s) to take based on your particular food sensitivities.
