My name is Pam and I'm 55 years old. I've have lost and gained 50+ lbs multiple times over the past 10 years.

Today I am at one of my highest all time weights and I'm very unhappy with myself.

I've had this app for a couple of years now but never really explored it until now.

I joined the 40 lb weight loss challlenge and hope I can make a little progress. Being connected may help me hold myself more accountable. I've been working to add "buddies" to my community.

Thank you for being my hubby!

Welcome aboard! There are lots of Keto folks here, and it's a very supportive site. Most are very well educated and informed, so if you have questions, ask away!

Hi Pam,
I am in the same situation as you. I have lost and gained so much weight throughout the years. I am very uncomfortable at my present weight. It definitely gets harder as you get older. I know I lack motivation, so I am hoping this challenge will help me eat and feel better. Good luck to you and everyone else in this challenge!

Hi Pam,
I just turned 55 last week. Welcome. Isn't it much harder to lose weight in one's 50s? I do 5:2 and it's working well.

Lots of people post interesting articles on here that you'll find helpful, some are just internet rubbish that isn't helpful but it's good to take it all in and evaluate it and find your own way amongst it.

Best of luck on your journey.

New to Fatsecret but not to weight issues
I am on WW also but if we can't get back to meetings I am considering canceling, also. The virtual meetings are just not the same. I do like the point system, though. Good luck.
