Is it normal to weigh more at night then in the morning. like 4 lbs.

It's not abnormal - everyone weighs more in the evening, that's why I weigh myself in the morning. If you drink those 8 glasses of water, that's probably 4 lbs right there!

While it's normal to weight more at night than when you first get up, in addition to the gain due to what you eat and drink, some people (like me) also have a tendency to retain fluid. Because I have heart issues, I tend to retain fluid in my legs, feet and ankles. This has improved somewhat lately due to a recent loss of 10 lbs., but I still have to watch it and try to keep my sodium low.
