I am so upset. I have been doing very good at jogging every night for about 30 minutes and the scales seems to be going up....UGH... does anyone see this happening to them? I know that muscle weighs more than fat but I still have 16 lbs to lose to my goal. Maybe I am eating the wrong foods.

Thank you

what color plan are you on? can you tell me what you eat in one day. i thought if you could tell me that, me and others can see if you might be eating something wrong or out of proportion. you know it takes alot of exercising to gain muscle. so dont stop your exercise, your doing great with that. - brandi

Sure, that might help me, thank you Brandi. I am on Gold, I have been on Gold since I was 187 lbs. Here is what I usually eat, to be honest.
Breakfast- 8:00, FF yogurt, Blue bunny, 80 calories and a fruit, usually 12 strawb, 15 grapes, apples or a cup of Cantelope. Then I eat a fruit and a lite at 10:00. Then for lunch I either have a lean cuisine, two cups of fresh brocoli (then I cook it in the microwave) or two cups of fresh sugar snap peas (then I cook it in the microwave)and the same with asparagus, or I will have a can of Low sodium tuna and six reduced fat wheat thins and the same veggies. I am not even sure if I am measuring the veggies right, I measure them cold then I cook them, right? Then at 3:00 I have a lite and my last fruit and starch. Then for dinner I will have a veggie, a protein and a fat left. I usually have the same veggies, brocoli (I eat a lot of that) and either 6 oz of chicken, (not frozen, that is high in sodium) or a 4 oz hamb patti, etc. I thank everyone that comments for me. I lost my fav counselor and have been so upset since she left.

You may be retaining water. When you exercise, muscle keep water. Also eating to much beef could be the problem. It can take upto 48 hours for the body to completely digest beef. You might want to cut back on frozen meals for a bit, they contain alot of sodium (water retention). I hope this helps. Andrea

You definably need to cut back on your frozen lunches. I did them for a week and thats the week I didn't loose anything. In the book it says to use 5 times per week. And I did that, because it was fast and yummy. And since that week I haven't used them, and I've started to move down on the scale. Just try it for a week and see what happens. I measure my veggies before or after they are cooked, so I dont think its gonna hurt if your a little over or under. Your doing great!!
