Okay, I'd really like to high 5 you but I find it really hard to believe that you lost weight on the foods you are eating.

Not only are you eating way over your RDI but the foods are not nutritional.

How did you do it?

I tend to agree with mummydee, with what you are eating the weight loss you claim is impossible.
Your weight loss to date has been steady, and you say now for some unknown reason you lose 35lbs in 14 days, then why haven't you weighed in on site so it shows?

Their scale really recorded my weight as such but do you really think I believed that? Their scale is obviously way off. I thought I would give everybody a good laugh.

I don't believe that scale. There is no way I am going to record that weight loss on FS. I am really trying to get on the right track. I just thought it would make everybody laugh. It made ME laugh when the tech read it.

Grins, one day I went from the docs office (they always do a weigh in) was thankful it was 2 pounds more than my home scale; the difference I assumed was clothes, none at home dressed and shoes there. Curious I jumped on the scale at the gym, same clothes, it was 60 pounds higher!!! Checked the weight it was balanced at zero, felt bad for anyone not realizing it was drastically off. I don't get on the gym scale!!

If you really want to lose the weight and get healthier change your way of eating. Sorry to be blunt but you are killing yourself with the type of foods/non-foods that you are eating and drinking. Start eating healthy nutritious foods instead of processed and junk foods with no nutrition. Skipping through you diet calendar is an eye opener. To eat healthy you need whole foods with nutrition: vegetables, fruits, healthy proteins and fats. Mountain Dew is not lunch or dinner, for example.

Your POST is sooooo true! I use Cron o Meter. I find that using Cronometer teaches me that each choice I make has a NUTRITION QUOTIENT. Each thing I put in my mouth must have the highest nutrition content possible or I simply do not make the choice.

"Its not enough for the food to just be nutritious. It must also be delicious, or eating will feel like a punishment." Meg Galvin, Smartpeople Cookbook.

While I agree with the above statement I also see deep ignorance in it. Our taste buds are bombarded with SALT SWEET & FAT-- our taste buds need to be retrained as to what delicious is. Yesterday I had a cup of boiled lentils(no salt),,,some Tuna, Sweet Onions , Cherry Tomatos, and Greek Olives….It was amazingly delicious.

exactly..

Sorry I missed the humour in the weight loss. I usually have a discrepancy from one scale or another of 5 lbs but not 34 !

Wholefoodnut and I usually mirror each other in opinions on eating plans. So i'll not repeat her advice , just say to listen to it ! Laughing

Jeri we both believe in eating real, whole, nutritional foods.

I used to say '' eat healthy and weight loss will follow''Very Happy However I'm going to eat those wordsShock

A few weeks ago I bought a Champion masticating juicer and went to town. I ended up drinking more fruit in one day than I used to eat in a week. Guess what? Sad I'm 5 lbs heavier now!Rolling Eyes

I did not log in the information to my food diary because for the past few years I have eaten basically the same and knew my intake.
So this is a lesson to all. Keep logging in!

I found a site that will calculate for me the ingredients in my juices so i can then input in my custom foods. I've backed down on the fruits and upped the veggies and will keep a close eye on it from now on as I log in each day.

So keep logging in your foods! Wink

YUp, logging foods keeps one on track!! I skip a few days here and there or now and then a week. I know it will help me stay on track if I continue logging. Definitely don't want that weight to creep back on.

I have not used the FS tracking…I suspect they are similar. It tracks Nutrients Calories Carbs Protein Exercise.

Too much food.
I am having trouble with portion control. Eating healthy foods jut too much. I am going to spend the extra $$ and buy individually packaged food. I hope that will motivate me to just eat 1 portion.
