Hello all I am New & Nervous

My name is Denise, I am new to this group/diet. I am nervous like I am sure many others, is this one really going to work? I did realy well on LA weight loss & then got prescription meds & a lot of stress & gained it all back (33 pounds)Embarassed Sad !!

I would greatly appreciate any help or advice anyone would like to offer for me to be successful!!I think loosing weight would help me being treated for depression as well!!

I'm sure your going to do fine..I know that if I write in my journal every other day, it seems to keep me on track. I know that we are on different regimes, but we can still support each other.

i stay on 1200-1300 calories eating what i want. works good for me

I have the same problem, I am positive that losing the excess weight will help me with depression, it's just having the get up and go to do something about it that stops me sometimes. I'm sure that if you stick with your weightloss plan, everything will be ok. Good Luck and Keep Trying.

Well I'm starting the rice diet this week too, and also have some reservations about it. It seems so easy to fall off! There is this great website at rice way that tells a lot about the diet and offers a ton of support. Unfortunately I had serious user issues trying to sign up as a member, so I rolled on over here for a journal and monitoring system. The information is still VERY useful and there are some great recipes too! I don't know if that link will post right, but hit me back if it doesn't and you want it. GOOD LUCK!!!

I have a link if you click on my profile of one of my posts. The website has great information and it reviews some of the popular diets right now. If you want weight that stays off, don't cut too many calories or whole food groups out at once. You may rapidly lose weight, but you will not keep it off. Try eating 6 small meals a day or 3 smaller portioned meals and 2 snacks in a day. This will keep your metabolism steady. Click on that website that I have and it will give you tons of information. If you have any questions, just ask!

I am a future college student, I just graduated from high school and I am looking for a way to lose weight and feel good about myself again. My family dont support me much so i am pretty much alone i have not chosen a diet yet still talking to my doctor about some of them. Well to make this story a little shorter I'm moving away for college and want to start a new and life
