Hi, I am just startng phase 1 and need some encouragement. I am also an independent distributor for Herbalife products and know they will fit in nicely to my diet plan.

I am just starting too, but years ago I lost quite a bit on Atkins and really enjoyed the diet until I got pregnant although I stayed on thru the pregnancy, I went off right after his birth (he'll be 2 in 2 weeks)and I really gained alot, ready to get back on the Atkins fast track, I lost 20 lbs the first month last time, I'm hoping to do the same this time! Good luck!Smile

Well my husband went on it with me , thats a huge help! He said he will this time too, not having packs of oreos around will help! At that time I did walk each morning, not far by any stretch of the imagination!maybe 4 blocks it was Jan/Feb in PA too cold for me! He also lost 20 lbs the first month and thats all he had to lose. So I am excited to start again, even a week before Turkey day, I'll just have lots of Turkey, deviled eggs and broccoli. It probably also helped that I am a creative cook, experiment alot! and make sure you have sugar free jello on hand it will cut the sweet cravings. Good Luck!

I got through the holiday period relatively unscathed although my exercise fell off a cliff. Like you, hard to stay motivated to do exercise when it's colder than cold outside. No wonder they sell so many of those infomercial weight loss and exercise products that you can use at home. Everyone is to lazy to venture out.

Weight Gain?
Maybe switch it up a bit. There are different things to do. Have a off keto day, Eat high calories, and then later do some fasting.

What can I put in my coffee?
I'm trying to keep my sugars down, but love flavored coffee creamers. Any creative ideas for low-sugar things I can put in my coffee to sweeten it up?

stopped tracking years ago...........it doesnt have to be forever
I stay pretty steady since being on maintenance for a number of years. I tend to track occasionally just as check up on myself.

New Study suggests a metabolic advantage for low carb diet
Ah, you deleted that comment. Anyway, I never claimed it was simple. I've struggled for 18 years with it. I think I finally have it down. :)
