Hello, I am new to this program as of today. I am trying to loose almost 70#. I deal with FMS (Fibromyalgia), Extreme muscle pain.
In my past attempts this last 2 years to exercise I start out about where I would in Physical Therapy sessions. My work out equipment consists of the Gazelle (simulates cross country skiing)I go 2 miles every work out. The Ab Glider, for belly crunches, Side crunches, build upper arm/chest strength and back strength. I start at 5 reps each and each workout add 5 more reps each. Tread Mill I start at 1 minute about 2.3 mph (I have extreme difficulty with the tread mill due to hip and back pain) each work out I try to ad another minute.
My problem is that with FMS things like weather fronts and as much as over doing the exercise I get days I have to struggle just to move. Then I am down for a week or better and have to get brave to start over again.
I am looking for "my Challenge" not yet sure I understand all that is available to me in this site.
I am wondering if anyone would give me their suggestion to a challenge that I might be able to keep up with and if I do fall behind could maybe jump back in when I start feeling good enough to go again?
I am looking at the 7 Minute Circuit Workout?
Thank you

Give this a look. You may be able to help yourself with adjusting your diet. Tina is on the right track, but there are so many other food products that can cause inflammation.

Hey @orralisonjane have you thought of using a foam roller to help with your muscle pain? My father in law suffers from muscle and joint pain and we got him one for his birthday and so far its been helping him a lot. We ordered his online from Beachbody- http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_gear/foam-roller.do. After doing research this seemed to be the most durable and better quality. Hope this helps!

It may help to just join a group for now. It will give you the motivation you need and you won't have that feeling of "dropping out" when you need to take a break. You can also start your own challenge, I'm sure there are others out there who are trying to lose weight while dealing with limiting medical conditions. You may be able to start one that has a larger Window for completing goals so that you are able to reach them even despite a minor set back. In any instance,I want to commend you for working so hard despite your limitations and wanting to challenge yourself.
