I wonder if anyone has any tips for me. I have been following a reasonbly healthy diet for years now - cutting carb, avoiding all processed foods. Lost a few kilo's at the beginning and has been on the same weight for most of my adult life. Then I started hormone therapy and gained 5 kilo's. And no matter what, I cannot seem to get rid of them again! I cut calories to 1100 per day, started exercising but without any success. And 5 kilo's does not sound like much, but since I am VERY short, that 5 kilo's mean 2 pant sizes up. Any ideas?

What kind of hormone therapy? And at what doses? And in response to what condition?

Assuming thats information you want to share, of course; just hard to offer any advice without knowing more.

Hormone therapy plays a big part in it! Christi is asking the right questions. It is hard to answer without some more facts. Also, what build are you?

Ughh, I feel your pain! Literally! I am also very short, but have gained around 30 pounds since HRT. Granted, I have aged almost 20 years in the process, but still! I am starting today with my new fitbit, paleo, increased exercise program...so if anything works...I'll let you know...I am gong to follow this post to see if anyone has any tips or suggestions as well!
I have an hourglass figure...although...looking more like a short, round glass at the moment...

Hello there! I'm really sorry that you are struggling. I totally understand your frustration, considering that you've been doing the best you could to get the results you want. I've noticed that you've mentioned a hormone therapy. Recently, I have read about a bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. This one seems to be pretty safe, when compared to synthetic hormone assumption. I got all the information from https://www.xcellr8.health/bioidentical-hormone-replacement-therapy/. I really hope you'll find a solution to your problem. Stay positive and everything will turn out okay.
