I've been doing this for a couple of weeks but have not done this step, so.....


I'm Willy. Retired from the computer world. I've been struggling with my weight since my 40's (I'm 67 now) and it finally seems I am getting a handle on it. I've done these calorie counting apps before and lost maybe 10 lbs then gave up when I got stuck. This time I'm determined to see it through till I lose 50 lbs. So far, so good.

I'm a type II diabetic so I have those challenges as well. I had let a lot of this stuff slide for too long and I was starting to develop issues blood sugar levels as well as joint problems etc. So I'm a little late to the game but hopefully not TOO late.

Anyways... this seems like a good group and I look forward to sharing this experience.

Hi Willy, I'm trying this site again. It was great in the past but I didn't stick with it. Much to my chagrin. Hope to see you around.

That's good to hear. Exercising can help your body manage blood sugar and insulin levels. Hope you enjoy doing it with the old ladies and youngers too!
