I'm back on here after being a slug for years. I've been doing a lot of research though and my husband and I are going plant-based for good. For the last year+ we've been exploring it, eating little meat, but too much bread and sweets. Although not losing weight yet, we feel it's right. So for 2021 I'm cutting way down on sugar and breads. Whether I lose all the weight I need to or I don't, so be it. The diet I'm going with is the Starch Solution.
I love Fatsecret for its endurance. I have weight records on myself for many years and that helps me a lot.
If there is anyone else out there convinced that plant-based is the way to go, don't hesitate to say so. If you're on some other diet and want to dissuade me, dont bother. I could use a little support on here. Much love, Kim

I started on a plant-based diet last February. I have not always eaten "healthy" food options and I did not track my food over the past year. At the beginning of this year, I have decided to work harder at making better choices, tracking everything and to get moving. I prefer to look at my plant-based diet as a "practice". I work at it everyday, but some days I don't do as well as others. I don't beat myself up and give up - I just get back on track the next day. We got this! ~ Karen

I've always eaten plants in my diet, along with seafood, chicken, etc. Did you mean to say "plants only based diet"?
