I found recently a list of juicers and decided to purchase one, so would be nice if someone could help me with recipe for cocktails from fruits/vegetables with calcium (for bones). I only know about oranges and have no idea what combination of other fruits would be tasteful. And also if you have a juicer, let me know what brand and are you satisfied or not. I'm choosing from Omega, Kuvings, and Hurom

Hi Paula, most of the green juices/smoothies have enough calcium, yet still I'd have a test before switching to such diet. Since, well, it's really dangerous. The lower your calcium intake, the more likely it is that you'll suffer osteoporosis in your senior years. Unfortunately, by the time you detect a calcium deficiency you may be suffering from brittle bones.
You'd have to eat about three cups of chopped broccoli to equal the calcium in one cup of milk. And that might not be something you'd want to do every day. Incorporate calcium-rich vegetables such as turnip greens, collard greens and kale in your diet, along with calcium-fortified juices and soy foods.
My fav morning drink is this one:
1 cup greens (kale, swiss chard, parsley, spinach...) 1/4 orange with skin 1 scoop plain protein powder 1 tbsp chia seeds or ground flax 1 tbsp gogi berries 1 tsp maca powder 1 date 1/2 cup frozen mangoes or berries water
