15 year old losing weight

i'm 15, 5'0, and 103 lbs (46.72 kg). I'm trying to eat 1500 calories a day. Any tips to keep from mindless snacking?

You shouldn't be trying to lose weight while you're growing. Just concentrate on getting a little more protein and be a kid. If you were unhealthily overweight that would be one thing but your weight is already low.
Consume whatever foods you prefer, whenever you prefer to consume them, while ensuring nutrient sufficiency and meeting caloric goals.

fatsecret iphone app and portions
I have the app on my android and I am able to change portion size no problem, i.e. 2, .5, .25, .33, .75 etc. But my friend has an iphone and her version of fatsecret is different and she cannot figure ...
