Hi Winning56, Good on you for giving it a go and finding something that works for you. My husband and I did this a few years ago as well when it was called the 8 week blood sugar diet. we dropped the dropped the weight fairly quickly. AFter the 8 weeks you are supposed to stick to the principles but up the calories. We added too many calories clearly cos here I am again. So I'm back using the principles of the 800 diet but tracking my food on here and trying to stay around 1200. All the best with it though - do what makes your body feel good Smile If you can get hold of his recipe books they have some great recipe ideas. I still have mine and the basil chicken is still a fave Smile

so many people fail because they buy into 'magic bullet' nonsense ….if you want to succeed you have to find a regime you can stick to forever .…...that's why so many people NEVER reach and more importantly stick to their goals...…….if that simple fact 'Triggers' you that's your problem so please don't transfer your insecurity onto me

well you know some people will never get it , because they think in some way they can 'GAME' the system that some how some where they will luck out and find a way to get more out of something than they put it into it...……………..You cant

I see it a lot often with people I like, work colleagues, friends etc ……...so many struggle with their weight and spend years and years talking about it, looking for some miracle answer, some pill, magic diet, WHEN THE TIME is RIGHT!...……………...THE TIME IS NEVER RIGHT!!

They look at me as some kind of miracle anomaly...……..7 years , 56lbs gone and not 1lb put back on...………….when I say it just a change of lifestyle that you have to adhere to FOREVER they look at me blankly like its something they could never imagine doing...…………...and that's why they fail
