Today is Day 17 that I’ve been recording my food. I do my best to stay within 1200 calories but sometimes go a little over, using portion control. Hungry all the time!!! Think I gained about 2lbs since I started ☹️. But I’ve done this before and I will get more slender. Last time, I starved for about 4 months and lost 4-5 lbs. I’m very active. Wonder if I would need to cut out carbs but like to keep my meals balanced. Anyhow thanks everyone for writing! I enjoy reading your posts! 😇

I know it may be tough at first, but I discovered that if I went gluten free and used monk sugar instead of agave etc, the hunger cravings went away. Maybe post a page or two of the food journal for others to comment upon? Also, are you sure 1200 calories is the correct amount? I know if I eat to little, my body goes into starvation mode...Stay strong.

That motivates me to stay active, even when my inclination is to be a couch potato, like, now, for instance, November!!! This is not to say that I don't also watch what I eat. I know that exercise alone won't make the weight come off. But keeping my attention on something other than food has helped me and continues to help me.
