I have been stuck at this couple of pounds either way window for weeks and just could not break through the plateau. Out of the blue in the last 7 days I have lost 6lbs. I did nothing different than what I have been doing all along. I just don't get it but I'll take it.

I think the body does that a lot. Great that you hung in there and was patient. Some people go crazy and do weird things or just give up. But believing in your diet is the main thing

I'm on a super long plateau too. I know I'll get my drop soon. Just stay the course. Glad you got yours.

I was stuck on a plateau...I became obsessed with getting lower so I did some extended days of fasting and kept up my regular seven miles of walking. When my weight INCREASED by the end of the week I was so angry and then I broke down crying.

It was a great learning experience, I totally gave up on healthy lifestyle for about a month after. Now I have changed the way I exercise and the way I eat. Never too late to find the right path. Plateaus are so frustrating.

I usually drop weight in one week and plateau for 2 to 3 weeks thereafter. Even so, I'm down 17.5 lbs after 8 weeks of keto, not hungry, so not complaining. I know from prior experience that if I eat too few calories, my body will go into starvation mode even if I carry to much weight. I'm experimenting with "fooling" my metabolism i.e. alternating days with different calorie/carb/fat/protein amounts or aqua fit 2x week instead of 3. I also do semi fasting (eat my heaviest meal 12-2 and nothing but tea or something non caloric after 4 p.m.) 2 to 3 times a week. It makes sense to me that since your metabolic rate slows during sleep, that you don't want to eat most of your calories before bedtime.
So, even if it's a non fast day, I try to keep it to snacks before 6:30 or something light.
