Is there a way to put in an entire recipe, like under my cook book and share those with my buddies but not publish them? I wouldn't care about them being published, but they never stop pending. I never click the box to have it published, but they all say pending anyways. When I put an entire recipe in to My Favorite MEals, it doesn't allow you to put how many servings. I tend to put in very large recipes and I could never figure what 1/45th of it is to put in to My Favorite Meals....

You could try using the MY SAVED MEALS / MY CUSTOM FOODS facility.

It requires a little work, i.e. you need to enter your receipe's analysed breakdown first.

If you are using a receipe that is already analysed e.g. Good Housekeeping or BBC GoodFood just input the values as specified.

Alternatively, I use: http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php

It's an American site but easy to use and for most part gives accurate breakdown of your meal. It asks for the number of servings and the analysis will give the nutritional breakdowns for a single serve. It won't matter how big the foodstuff is, and should negate having to enter 1/45th values.

Be careful with measurements as America varies alot from the UK. There are also others. Really a matter of personal preference.

Type in your recipe under the description/notes facility. If your account is set to private than only your buddies should be able to view the recipe by select the item in your custom food directory.

Hope this helps. Good luck - there may be easier ways that someone else has found.

This is an annoying problem with the website. My wife inputs the recipes into her cookbook and she has to add it to her food diary in order for me to add it to my food diary. But I cannot edit the recipe or add it to my cookbook. I don't understand why there are not more complaints about this....
