Nothing better than a good four-mile walk to go birding before an ample breakfast of one TJs waffle and half a trip of bacon and a huge glass of water. Exercise beats obsessing about food.

You can't outtrain a bad diet though. All things considered, your energy management is the most important aspect, and calorie counting is the easiest way to do this.

You can walk 20 miles or 100 miles, you won't lose weight if you are not on a calorie deficit.

I also focus on the food not the exercise. Exercise probably does help but how much can be hard to assess. With time you will probably get a very good idea of how to balance it all out
