I would say, if you just started on this weight loss path, not to count the exercise calories at all.

If you know the calories you have to eat during the day, then stick to that, regardless of the exercise you do.

Observe your body. Are you RAVENOUS after 2 weeks? then it's time to up the calories you eat.

Your body changes, so the intake will change when you gain more muscle, etc.

I'm on that path right now.

I started a year ago with a meager 1200Kcal intake. today I'm at around 1800Kcal.
I have to keep upping my Kcals every few weeks and observing how my body reacts to that.

Just updated to Catalina 10.15 OS and now I can't made food entries in FatSecret! Help,, I really prefer to made entries on th computer, it is so much easier.

I do not have the app but on the web you can click on print and that will give you the pdf. Look at your diary or plate and then find the print icon and click on that
