Hi - does anyone know if I can just track steps instead of min/hours walking? It would be more accurate since I use a step counter. I didn't see any option other the tracking time. Thanks.

I have a Fitbit 2 and since we don't have a steps option I take what my Fitbit says at the end of the day and use those figures. Of course this is an all day activity so I enter 1 hour as my time. I have no idea if that's how I should be recording this or not but that's what I do. Hope this helps.

There is a method to sync your Fitbit with Fat Secret now. It does not go the other way though. It might need to be done through the FS smartphone app.

I'd do an Internet search on if there is a way to sync your particular step counter (if not Fitbit) with the FS site.

There is a free iPhone app called "Runtastic Steps", also available for Android. It counts your steps as well as miles.
