That is definitely a good start for anyone wanting to lose weight. A diet should be interpreted as a way of eating. Healthy, without the sugars and starches and processed stuff...just real wholesome food. I use banana and apple as substitutes for sugar in oatmeal, bars, etc... cinnamon instead of butter on sweet potato, yogurt on baked potato, and seasoning on veggies instead of salt.

25 Fibers a day is also recommended as well as proper protein intake. It is doable and i don't feel hungry. I plan my meals ahead here, so i can tweek them if necessary to reach targets. This is a great site and i am so happy to have found it.
