Hi All,
I'm almost 76, and I'm old and brittle. I don't walk too well, must avoid the sun and cannot get flushed or overheated, so my workout opportunities are limited. I've been overweight for almost 30 years now, and would like to get back to somewhere near normal. Good luck to all!

The only way is to change your diets forever. Find what works and stick to it, there are no miracle weigh loss plans here.

Not being able to be outside for not working out is an excuse.
If you don't have a treadmill at home, go to a gym. Walk VERY SLOWLY on a treadmill for 10 minutes 3 times a week, and take it from there.

There are so many options, but if the only thing you do is excuse yourselves, you'll never succeed.

Thanks Immort, telling me I'm making excuses is very uplifting and encouraging. I didn't say I don't find ways to exercise, I just stated my limitations. Hope you have a great week.

I'm having an awesome week, thanks.

Limitations don't need to become excuses. Nobody says you need to go and run marathons. Read above. There are things you can do with your limitations, as you put it. If you choose to ignore my advise because you somehow feel attacked, that's also up to you.

Good luck with your weight loss and health plan! - and I mean it Smile

You're not hearing me, Immort. I do exercise, and I find a variety of ways to do so. And the reason I felt attacked is because I was. I made a statement and you immediately made a number of incorrect assumptions about me. You may not feel like you were attacking me, but I felt like you were. So, here we are, what do you say we call a truce? We are both here trying to be the best we can be, and we both hope for success for ourselves and our traveling companions. So good luck on your journey.
