how come I can"t remove resting from my exercise list ...it has me at burning 1900 cals and I cant remove it ….it is messing up my numbers …..HELP!!!!!

Actually, it’s helping your numbers you ge credit for calories burned while not doing anything else (resting). It does this because we burn calories even when we just sit for a time.
The resting calories are adjusted as you enter othe exercises. Make sense?

The resting hours are to balance to a 24hour day. You still burn calories even resting. HOWEVER I did a metabolic resting rate calc for myself and got to 64.52 Cal per hour. Fatsecret is using almost 91.67 for me so overestimating my calorie burn rate by 30%. Could be why people battle to loose weight. In case anyone is interested the calculation is as follows: For Women: BMR = 655 + (4.35 x weight in pounds) + (4.7 x height in inches) - (4.7 x age in years) For Men: BMR = 66 + (6.23 x weight in pounds) + (12.7 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)
