Hello everyone Very Happy I am looking for some friends who can encourage one another by posting Positive Affirmations whenever they are on the site. I myself am looking forward in this journey but I am taking that step of faith that I can do this, instead of turning to food for comfort. I joined a few years ago but never really looked at the site but feel I must do something about my weight. If anyone needs encouragement don't look back but look ahead, we can do this one step at a time. Take Care everyone and believe in yourself don't let doubt rob you.

Hey Born 2 Win and AnaE7, put post it notes on your mirrors and fridge with affirmations that you like. I like “It isn’t selfish to be kind to myself”. And put a nicely written, or stitched, or however you want to display it, note by your front door that says “Have a great day, Beautiful!” I think it can be hard for us women to be as nice to ourselves as we are with other people.

HI, unfortunately the forums are not very active. Post in your journals and you will have more responses. I love this site as without the support here I would not be where I am today. About 70 pounds lost and around goal for 4.5 years. I wish all of your the best on this journey. I totally believe that feeling good about yourself is crucial to weight loss and becoming healthy in body and soul. Without balance in your life nothing works properly. Hmmm. I have mine set up to automatically accept follow requests. Perhaps if you go into Settings and change your preference to automatically approve follow requests it will allow those you have to go ...

Im hanging in there but have read about someone losing 77lb in 3 months. I just wonder how that was done. Mine looks miserable compared to that.
