I do recommend that you seek medical advice before starting.

Generally for a healthy person however a fast say from after the evening meal on Sunday to breakfast on Tuesday is fine. You will not go into "melt down", you don't really need to watch your electrolytes. If you are concerned at all then don't fast and use calorie restriction/diet regime instead to lose weight.

Drink lots of water or green tea. If you feel unwell stop. If you feel hungry- it will pass.

Lots of interesting information on the benefits of fasting available. Yes it does fly in the face of the "eat frequently- keep your sugar levels up" advice. I find it fascinating.

Such a shame I missed your post, I am new to fasting and would have loved to have joined you. How did it go ? I am on day 3 of my second fast, so far so good
