Started this because we have lots of new members and many returning. Many here have amazing creative ideas that have worked for them. Share what works for you--especially if it can translate into any WOE plan.

A huge one for me is borrowed from my restaurant background. You will generally eat less. Make your meals look amazing, you eat first with your eyes and nose. Think about the size of your dishes, the color of your foods, and don't be afraid to use your good dishes. Put water in wine glasses add a twist of citrus, mint leaf, or a raspberry.

For example: I'm using antique crystal dishes for dinner tonight, they belonged to my Great Aunt and date from the 1920's. Perfect bowls for my soup and salad dinner. Perfect sizes and looks amazing. Nice that they aren't just collecting dust.

Just read up on how coconut oil facilitates weight loss. Going to add 3 TB a day to my diet and see what happens. (I am doing Atkins vegetarian style)

Per the article: "Coconut oil is shown to enhance thyroid function. This in turn stimulates the conversion of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol into the anti-aging hormones pregneonolone, progesterone, and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). These valuable hormones not only aid in weight management, but also in preventing heart disease, senility, and other degenerative diseases. It is believed that coconut oil helps convert thyroid hormone T3 to T4, a big bonus for the thousands of people who have sluggish thyroid function that causes weight gain and inhibits weight loss."
