Need advice about travel snacks

I know I've yo-yo'd, but I am back on Atkins to stay. My bunch knows now in no uncertain terms that's what I'm doing. I often have to ride a lot taking my grandmother to doctor's appointments. What can I carry with me to snack on so I do not go too long between meals, and give into temptation of a carby snack? What travels well? I do have a cold bag I can carry with me. I'm just clueless.

Hard boiled eggs, boar's head sliced turkey (no carby fillers), string cheese, sliced haas avocado, an atkins advantage bar or shake (no more than any 2 per day), a bag or pork rinds. Once you get out of induction and into phase two you can start slowly adding in certain berries and nuts too, but not all.

Pork crackling / scratching, beef jerky, biltong, packet of sliced ham, mini sausages, peperami, small can of tuna, pickled herring rollmops, cheese, greek yogurt, nuts, seeds, etc... Smile

August 09 Month 15: 179 lb (2 lb. lost). 15th September 09 Month 16: 171 lb (8 lb. lost). Total Loss: 147 lbs! in 15 months. (Alas! Regained! :'-( )

I used to work and be on the road much of the day. My favourite snack was to roll up a small piece of swiss cheese inside a slice of ham or roast beef with a dollop of mustard in the middle. I could put 6 of these in a baggie and they were easy to carry and eat while I was driving.
If it is a plant, eat it, if it comes from a plant, don't!
