(Ok guys, this is a little long but plz read it.) You know, at first, I was at risk of being overweight 2 years ago. I was forced to join this site by my dad and he forced me to exercise, too and I hated it.Crying or Very sad It was a really tough time for me for a lot of reasons and in this process, I felt as though I had absolutely no free will. After my dad stopped monitoring my weight and his own, I never went on the site. Free will allowed me to not feel so much pressure and stress, which made my health improve so much.Wink At this time, I was just almost a borderline healthy weight. This year, I've learned that exercise has become a HUGE part of happiness I discovered as a student playing tag with my friends everyday at recess. Now, if I go a day without exercising, I miss it. I've always loved food but now I hardly ever overeat. I go on the treadmill just for 20 minutes and I feel awesome. I'm not apart of any sport but I found that running around being crazy (like I am), provides a lot of exercise for me. I'm a comfortable healthy weight now and I'm just working to maintain that and become a little bit lighter. I'm young and growing, but I weight ten pounds less than I did 2 years ago and being healthy tastes even better than sushi (my favorite). But I'm not leaving this site. I go on now because I WANT to. I'm learning that's it's not the diet that will keep you healthy, it's the life-choice.Cool

Congrats. You learned good lessons early in life that will serve you well over the years. I wish I knew what you know when I was young. But better late than never, and this site is saving a lot of us...

Congratulations for following through with finding activities that help you. Being aware of how you want to feel and what your goals are is something great no matter what age you are. Many of us struggle with feeling stress and pressure whether we put it on ourselves or it is put on us by loved ones. Your success, frame of mind and determination are inspiring. J

Nyee, thank you for posting this. If you could only see the big smile on my face. You put it there, and I can not thank you enough for that.
I think we all tend of over complicate things, and you actually just opened my eyes for some of it.
I have just finished writing a journal entry where I talk about the necessity of (or rather, lack of) cardio exercise, and I think I need to go back and add something, because you put a little question in my head.

WHEN are we doing cardo? We don't need to go for a focused walk or run or bike ride to do cardio. MANY times, it's actually enough to just have fun, run around, play with the kids (or the parents), and have FUN!

Thank you so much for your post. Sincerely. Smile

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier! If you feel that you need help losing weight, don't hesitate to send me an inbox message.
