I'm 5'4" and still deciding. My original goal weight was 155lb, then I changed to 150lb. I'm about 147/148lb now...thinking of going down to 145lb but can't seem to find a reason to bother. I like how I look right now..and in the past..anything less than 145lb...people start asking me if I'm OK lol.

5'4" currently 125, goal 120. kind of. I'm 60 so trying to lose a some fat and gain muscle. I don't really care if I lose on the scales or not. I can tell by my clothes more than the scale if I'm tightening up. And I definitely don't want to lose muscle from not eating enough.

I'm 5.2". Mostly am able to maintain my weight between 120-122 lbs. But this year, I've been putting on lbs unnaturally despite working out, yoga etc. I went upto almost 134 lbs. I removed yeast, unnatural starch and lactose from my diet, and have come down to 126 lbs in 2 months. My goal is to reach 120 lbs by my next birthday, in May 2018.

THAT IS FANTASTIC!! INTERESTING METHODOLOGY. I AM GOING TO CHECK INTO THAT.

My body fat% is very high, maybe even higher than yours. My 27 inch waist is not bad on numbers but I can't even feel muscle, just loads of fat. And fatty liver probably won't resolve until body fat decreases significantly.

Guess the healthier weight should be around 100 lbs.

I'm 4'10", very small boned, and have a 30" waist at 102lbs. It's all flabby rolls of fat. It's hard to believe I once ran a marathon. When I hit menopause I went from a 24" waist to 34 and gained 20lbs in less than a year. It took me another year to lose the weight but I only lost a few inches in size and none of the fat. Sad

Im 19, 5'3 and weigh 205, down from 241. My goal weight is 140, however I would not mind going lower, to like 120 if I still have some extra mass on me.

I just checked your h&w on SmartBMI chart. You are exactly like me, (5'3 and 120lbs) BMI 21.3, supposedly optimal for our health. But I have the same high fat% issue. The fact that I have fatty liver at this level is to say we really should be at lower weight/body fat% to be optimal. I don't expect muscle to grow much. 1 lb of fat to someone 5'8 may be nothing, but to us petite women, impact is big.

I find it helpful to target mid-section for core strengthening (good for back too), with a mix of cardio and stretching, plus 5 lb hand weights, in moderation. Do take days off not doing anything. But keep your calorie counts strictly below 1000 daily. Keep in mind that the calorie counts can be 200-400 less than the actual numbers. Intermittent fasting is helpful. Small women don't need as much calories to begin with, plus we need to burn off those extra fat and it does take a LONG time. Just keep at it.
