I'm 5'4" and have a medium frame. People always think I'm exactly 20 pounds less than what I actually am lol.

I'm just about 5'3". 4 years ago I lost 60lbs and weighed 121. I didn't feel thin but was told I was small. I was happy with my weight, but could not maintain it. I exercised, watched what I ate. No matter what I did, I gained. I pretty much gave up and went overboard! Now, 4 years later I'm here to lose again. My goal this time is 130's, as I know I can't maintain 120's.
I think it depends on your body type, age, and resting metabolism. JMO. Good luck on your journey, you can do it!!

Hi there I just checked it out, it seems about right to me, thought for my ideal weight I'd shave 2 more kilos off it, even below the HAMWI calculation, as being a little bit lean is even better I think, thanks for posting it

I am 76 years female and have weighed well over 200 for a long time. Have minor health issues, with HBP and a med with side effect of weight gain, but am in relatively good health. Have been working hard to lose pounds counting calories and carbs and eating healthy. Am not very good at tracking. A few years back lost 40 pounds with WW. Gained some back. Short term goal is to lose 10 pounds by end of October, when I have annual checkup. Have lost 20 pounds since retiring and kept it off. Stress, travel, arthritis, etc have contributed. Dr said I was gaining 4-5 pounds per year. Have turned it around and lost 4-5 pounds per year, which is a net loss from my old ways of about 8-10 pounds per year. It has not been easy. Am looking at different ideas to lose more quickly and increasing exercise this year. Live in hot climate and can not walk when it is over 100 degrees outside. Am looking forward to Fall, as I can walk more.

I am 62 years old and a caregiver to my husband who has Alzheimer's. I still work and used to workout 3x's a week. I have gained 20Lbs since 2017 mostly, I think, because of stress and my sedentary job. Just joined a boot camp at the Y and plan to do challenges here too. My goal weight would be 140lbs or less if possible. Currently I am at 164, a weight I have never experienced...even during pregnancy.
