Hello all,

I'm a new member and i have just done the basics info, i have noticed that Fatsecret has recommended around 3400 calorie according to my data, while i have checked 4 other sites using same data and the recommendations were 2500 to 2850 calorie.

If anyone would explain please as it is so confusing to me.

Thanks Smile

The only other I tried was fitnesspal - they based it there off how many lbs I wanted to ideally lose a week, which I set as 2, so they cut me off at 1200. Here at Fatsecret it's 1300 lbs, but they state to lose 1 lb a week. Your daily is a huge difference compared to my 100. Did you enter different information here, such as activity level or age difference?

Could you please provide more info about another website? What information have you provided to Fatsecret and which one to other's resources? Seems that the data are different on the resources. It may caused this issue.

I entered sedentary for activity level and the number was closer to where I thought mine should be. Smile
