Any chance of adding a garmin Edge cycling computer to the apps that track exercise?

They are working on it, but it sounded not real simple...I had asked the FS tech guys a few months ago as my Garmin Vivosmart HR+ can directly link my exercise and calorie burn with the "My Fitness Pal" website, they were going to check into it but were not sure about how close the Garmin / MFP (a competitor of FS) affiliation was...I havent heard any news back yet.

I did try logging my intake onto MFP for a couple of weeks, but preferred FS input tools...so now I just manually match up my FS activity & calories with the Garmin and keep logging both intake and output with FS.

Maybe soon they'll get it, but it would be good to check again.

FYI, I just forwarded this thread onto the FS folks, when I hear anything I'll post it here.

Below is the reply from Fat Secret regarding integration of exercise tracker data into the FS app. It looks like a direct link is not going to happen but they suggest portalling the data through The Apple or Google (android) health apps.

Hi Steven Lloyd,

Many thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience.

We are in the process of adding integration with Google Fit and the Apple Health app as you can read in the following blog post

 http://blog.fatsecret.com/post/166241198051/a-new-home

We wont be adding any new exercise trackers at the moment but if you are able to share your data with one of the apps listed above, these apps can then share the data with FatSecret.

We appreciate your patience and wish you well.

The FatSecret team
