Hi All,

I've received a buddy request from Finland, which, of course, I can't reply too as I can't access the Finnish site. Can anyone tell me how I can accept this please? Will it turn up in my buddy requests?

I translated the message into English, but knowing that it isn't always an identical translation, I'm struggling to work out which is the fatsecret name. I'll put it below.

Any help gratefully accepted

I went to fatsecret.fi/ and was able to sign in just like on here. There was an option to translate so I did. All my info and buddies showed up on there so maybe her request will show up here? I am on a computer, not mobile site....

Right, I think that the problem was that I couldn't remember my password to sign in (hangs head in shame) so I've reset that, signed in on the Finland site and it doesn't show up on their either - perhaps they changed their mind.

Thanks for your help

Ha, I totally get forgetting password. Since I'm automatically logged on here, I never think about it. I just took a guess and got lucky!

My company makes us take a computer security class every year and from that class I learned a very good security password that can't be forgotten because it's based on your birthday. It's based on this sentence, "My birthday is on June 1st 1920". Obviously that's not my birthday but if I told you that you'd know my password. So, you take that sentence and turn it into this: MbioJ1st20. If you signup for a website that makes you use a character just add an exclamation point to the end of the password so it looks like this: MbioJ1st20! Easy pease!!!! Now if you typically forget your birthday, I can't help you. LOL

If you have translated important information for you, then you should not trust the automatic translation using Google. I think that in order to avoid misunderstanding of information, you should use the services of professional translators.

You're right. In my experience, there have been situations when the automatic translation was incorrect and I got into an awkward situation when communicating with my client. Since then, I have conducted all my business meetings with foreign partners only in the presence of a professional translator, if I need written translation, I turn to one of the companies that are on https://isaccurate.com/japanese-translation-services Here is a selection of the best translation services with a high rating and a positive assessment. I am pleased with our cooperation.
