Hi there!!
I am 7 weeks pregnant and expecting my second baby on May 2015. I gained 20kg with my first pregnancy and was difficult to go back to my normal body weight and it took me a year.
I dont want to face this situation again and want to follow the healthy meal plan this time.
If anyone who is same like me, I am happy to share my experiences.

Hello,
I had the same problem, I gained 25 kgs during my first pregnancy and it was so difficult to come back to normal. My sclaes showed same number for almost three years. but during second pregnancy I only gained 4kgs thanks due to constant monitoring of my nutrition and foods. it is said that you just need to have 1200 calories extra than usual during pregnancy. you can refer babycenter.com in this regard. a very helpful site during pregnancy.

wow girls Hats of to you for wanting to eat healthy , I gave birth 6 months ago, I always said, If i must be pregnant I will not eat unhealthy , girls let me tell you that first 3 months the only thing i could get in was bread , noodles , rice, chips all the healthy stuff i normally ate ( vegs, Fruit , water, cottage cheese, popcorn ) if i think of it i had to run to the bath room. only about month 7-9 months my eating was better and i could stomach vegs and fruits again. Good luck with your pregnancy , I have gained 18kgs during my pregnancy was still active from month 4 -9 walked daily , did cycling indoors, light weight training. I lost that 18kgs in 4 months time ,started exercising and eating clean after that 6 weeks only.

Thanks for the replies girls. It motivates me a lot. I remembered how much I struggled to loose those extra 20kg and gained my confident back. I could not exercise due to my C-section.

It will be difficult for me to limit 1200 calories per day but I have to try. Lost 18kg in 4 months is a bit of a shock to me. Smile and also admired.Well done. Smile

remember some of that weight was the baby weight as well and the water / uterus and so on. Also had c section when doc gave me that clearance I started exercising that same day.. Smile I just wanted to get to pre - pregnancy weight was scared that I will gain all my weight back that I have lost 3 years before baby - I use to be overweight still think I'm a fat girl from inside.
I would say don't worry to much about the calories remember you are pregnant and you know you get your on days and your off days , some days you want to eat some days you cant stomach certain stuff. just try to make healthy food choices and stay away from processed stuff. walk daily or exercise if you get clearance from your doc and as dhaanii say, she only gained 4kgs with the second one maybe you also as lucky and don't gain to much just the baby's weight this time.
