Hi Guys, I'm doing keto diet recently and I love the changes its making in my body. However, there are times that I'm being kicked out of ketosis because of sugar & carbs. I have difficulty in controlling my carbs intake =( Did you also encounter this difficulty? What are your approaches and how did manage it?

It isn't needed for fat loss so as long as your calories are on point, you're good.
Consume whatever foods you prefer, whenever you prefer to consume them, while ensuring nutrient sufficiency and meeting caloric goals.

Is that so? Oh, I thought, you need to stay on Ketosis for the whole process. I even bought lots of Ketone test trips and planning to test my body for at least once a week to check if I'm still on track. So, does it mean also that no need for ketones test strips?

I am a newbie to Keto diet and indeed it is difficult to stay on track especially under Ketosis phase of the body. I endured Keto for 2 months only...All I am doing now is lessen my calorie intake. I hope it will work.

That's correct. Fat loss comes down to taking in less calories than your body needs. Focus on protein intake and resistance training to lose more fat and less lean mass which will have a negative impact on your metabolism.

Keto is just a tool some can use to reduce total calories. If you like it and can make it a lifestyle, go for it.

However, I read that Keto can affect mental health. Emerging evidence suggests that keto may help with depression in several ways and a friend of mine is suggesting that I must see a therapist while on keto. Does anyone of you guys tried this?

KETO
If it's not something you can stick to, you're setting yourself up for a derailment. Fat loss comes down to calories in vs. out so you may as well practice a plan that is sustainable.
