Daily for me, as soon as I get up in the morning. Weekly can be more deflating if I am up. Weight can fluctuate daily, but then if you are up you can adjust, Some food affect me differently than others.

I used to weight daily but now every Monday. Since I have lost all the pounds I wanted to lose I don't weigh myself often. It's also very stressing to do that everyday.

I just weighted myself in order to fill the registration fields for this site. I can't remember when was the previous time, probably many years ago - I've been the same weight all the time since grownup.

I'm disappointed that this site doesn't have the capabilities to enter more complete list of nutritional facts about food and from the few it allows, only 6 can be viewed in the diary.

Guilty as charged, since I've bought one of those cool body analysers I hop onto them every other day. Frustrating really.

I have an Omron body fat analyser. It never seems to change regardless of my various weight fluctuations. What brand "body analyser" do you use?

Really? What a mean analyser you have, Kennard. My analyser never lies Smile It's SALTER. And it shows BMI, water, fat and weight. Interestingly my weight fluctuations follow a monthly pattern: 2 weeks of steady weight loss (if on a diet aimed to loose), one week of steady weight or gain (just before those days - water retention is killing me!), then whoosh, in two-four days a different picture arrives - losing all water and feeling/looking leaner than before.

I've just started my food & fitness kick so I'm doing weight every day. We've got a machine at work that does it all so every Monday I'll do that (BMI, blood pressure, heart rate, body fat, etc).

Twice a day, morning and evening.

Then I take the average of the last 4 weigh-ins as the official record.

eg.

Day 1 PM: 77.5
Day 2 AM: 76.7
Day 2 PM: 77.5
Day 3 AM: 76.8

Average kg. 77.13

For day 3, I record kg. 77.1 as my weight in the diary.

Using an average like this evens out the ups and downs and gives me a better understanding of how my weight is moving.

I used to way myself everyday but now It's once a month because the hypnotist explained that weighing yourself everyday is setting yourself up for failure and causes you to feel depressed leading to you wanting to eat more, listen to me, I sound positive about loosing weight, i never used to be, ha

First thing in the morning after I use the bathroom, before I drink anything. I find it's important to get a nice fasting weight first thing in the morning if you want consistency.

After I've had my breakfast it'll be a few pounds heavier due to food and drink. After a workout, it'll be a bit low due to dehydration.
