Calorie deficit. Which is more important, per day or per week?
This is really encouraging to me. 3 days of the week I work away from home so dieting is easier and then I fail when I'm home with my boyfriend. I read also on someone's post that 2-3 days a week they do a "fast" where they try to consume less than 500 calories for that day. This seems counter-intuitive to me because your body goes into starve mode. What information do you have about that?

Calorie deficit. Which is more important, per day or per week?
I read someone's post that said their goal was to have a calorie deficit of 500 per day/ 3500 per week to lose a pound a week. My questions is, does it have to be 500 per day or can it be 3500 per week? Some days I just barely squeak by not going over my daily allowance and some days I have a 1000 calories left over. I'm not making the 500 per day consistently but I'm pretty close to the 3500 per week. Any insights?

Website for calories burned on activities not on FatSecret
I needed to know how many calories I burned washing my car the other day and I found this website :http://www.self.com/calculatorsprograms/calculators/caloriesburned/aerobics/result?weightPounds=&duration=&activity=&submit= that has a list of activities not on FatSecret. You select the activity, put in your weight, and how long you did it for and it tells you calories burned. Then you can add a new exercise in your weight journal.

Scale
I want to buy a scale that monitors my % body fat, bmi, and other various statistics but I don't know which one to get. I don't want a $50 scale but I would like something that tells me more than just how much I weigh. Any suggestions?

FOODILICIOUS
Living by that motto is part of why I am so fat. my parents instilled in me wasting food is wasting money and there are staving kids who would love my leftovers. Its been instilled in m so hard that leaving food on my plate makes me feel bad.

Losing Weight Without a Gym?!?
Something that I do that works when I can stick to it is just walking. I'll put in a movie or turn on netflix and just walk. Sometimes I'll use my little 5 pound hand weights and walk with those. Or if I'm doing laundry I'll walk in place while I'm also walking around to put things up. For an extra challenge I might walk each individual piece of laundry to its place after folding it. I can spend an hour doing laundry like this and while its not the same as some of the other actual work outs posted (which are all great) its at least something. Even on the days I don't feel like doing anything I can do that.

Weight fluctuations
My weight varies significantly depending on when I weigh myself and how soon I do so after eating. For instance, if I eat lunch at 3:00pm and then weigh myself at work at 5:00 pm I might weigh 165, but then when I get off at 7:30 am I might weigh 163. Since I only weigh myself when I'm at work, when or how should I weigh myself?
