OH Yoga.......... (Please tell me I am not alone)
If you are still wondering about yoga I have recently found one that is really good for anyone. It is called The Trainer's Edge: Long and Lean Yoga. You should watch it first and he goes through each move telling you how your form should be and the modifacations to use if you are just starting out or are not flexible. He also says st the start of the video that you should know your limits and be ok with that. Try to go as far as you can and be ok with being uncomfortable but not in pain. Great workout as well. I love yoga now that I have been doing it for several months. Focus on your breathing and being in the pose and at the end not only will you have had a great workout but you will be so relaxed in the end. Hope you try it again.

Hard Workout day
I did this once and did 5 hours of exercise. Of course it was broken out through the day but the next day I did not lose I gained. In about 3 days or so I finally saw the scale go down. I think when we do any kind of workout it takes some time for our bodies to adjust so don't be upset if you don't see it the next day. Check it again in a few days and see what happens. Great job!

GRRR!! HELP ME!!
I just read on another diet site ( sparkspeople ) that when you are going into maintanance phase that it is 1) about what you are eating and 2) that you should not cut back on your workouts that they may need to even be increased some. People tend to go back to the way they were eating and cut back on the exercise but it really needs to be the opposite. I am trying to find the balance as well and I am going to log every other week to keep me in check and still keep my workouts going strong. I added some strength training and yoga into the mix along with my usual cardio. Hope this helps.

I am 5'5 and 149 lbs at the moment. I started almost a year ago and lost weight at first and then stopped at 142 and stayed there for almost 10 1/2 mo. I finally broke through and I feel like I have stalled again. I have changed a few things I think are helping me. One, I started working out in the morning before I eat. This burns the cal/fat already stored on my body instead of burning through the food first and my fat last. Two, I took a break for a bit after about 5mo and can back with a stress free way of eating and dieting. I try to fucus on eating healthy and working out and not get to hung up over the number. Not always easy to do. Three, I have a LOT of different workouts so I don't get bored. Maybe try switching it up a bit. A trainer told me to put the resistance on a tredmill at 12 and just walk as fast as you can without holding on for thirty min. I could only walk around two to three mph but it is a lot harder than you think. She said it burns the fat stored and again not the food you ate. Hope that helps. Bad Foods
I agree with k8, and the people who are on these so called diets can not make this into a lifestyle. You should be able to eat anything (in moderation) to keep yourself on track for the long run and not just for a short burst of weight lose. It will come back when you start adding these "bad foods" back into your life. Can you stay away from fruit for the rest of your life??? Not me.

Cardio
The trainer I talked to at my gym told me to do incline 15 for 30 minutes and that will burn stored fat instead of doing a faster run at a lower incline. Which she says burns the calories you consumed and not stored. It is actually harder than it sounds and I was only able to start at 15 minutes at a time.

I have found two other calorie calculators that have really helped me. Hope they do the same for you. They have more things from outside activity to taking care of children. I get fajitas when we go out. I don't eat the tortillas and try to stay away from chips ans dips. Good luck

Jaydajedi, sorry I was not commenting on your post. Sorry if you took it that way. This is what I was going to say even if your post was not in here. Like I said I try not to have buddies that say negative things and I don't do it either, I am on here for support and to support others.

Diet Snobbery- Anyone else notice this?
Everyone has two cents to put in, even on here. I try to buddy people who like to support you and not gasp at a coke when they see it. I think when people really have your best interest in mind they will pull you aside or send an email letting you know the concerns they have and not give you a lecture in public or on a site. Just my two cents, Lol. Good luck to you

Desperate because of my body. Please help!
we are our worst critic. from the side pic the only thing I see is you need some weight lose in the lower stomach and wight training. eat lots of protein when weight training and you will be on your way in no time. Just keep remembering what it its you want and go for it. Dont be so hard on yourself, no one else sees what you think you see. Good luck to you, we are all here for you.

Has Anyone Else Had Trouble Losing Weight Even Though They Are Sticking To Their Diet?
I have been doing this since I had my baby five months ago. I have not lost any weight and keep going between 142 and 145. Keep gaining and losing the same two pounds and it sucks! I have tried several things from diet to work outs and so far not much progress. I have started measuring myself and I finally started to see some results at about four and a half months but it is very slow going and I have been to my Dr. who blew me off. Going to a new Dr. tomorrow and I amhoping we can figure this out. Good luck to you and just keep going! Even if you lose slowely you are still getting healthy by eating right and working out so that is a plus.

I know I hate that! The only thing I have done is to take the amount of servings listed and just divide it up but then again they don't always put more than one serving. Wish I could help but I feel the same

Weight Gain?
Maybe switch it up a bit. There are different things to do. Have a off keto day, Eat high calories, and then later do some fasting.
