How do I add a picture to my Journal Entries?
I have the "image" button that I click on in my entry but that just puts the words "Image..." at the bottom of my journal. When I go back to look at the entry there is no picture. It doesn't give me an option to add a picture. I've seen others with pictures in their can anyone help me?

What or should you eat before you exercise?
Personally I don't eat anything until after I walk/exercise/work out in the morning. I drink about 1-2 cups of water before and after; then I make myself breakfast. I don't like to eat as soon as I wake up because it usually makes me feel sick if I do, so I allow some time for my body to wake up.

I would love to say more, but I'll keep it at answering to Petuniak's post. The movie is "Super Size Me"
Eat oatmeal then. Get off that diet it is not sustainable as a life style.
Diablo, do you know anything about South Beach? I don't understand why you would say it's not sustainable as a life style but counting calories is? I normally don't post my disagreements on FS because everyone is entitled to their opinion, but South Beach is about eating healthy. Lots of veggies, lots of protein, lots of fiber, and incorporating carbs/fruit back into your diet slowly. I know that counting calories is not sustainable as a life style for me personally. I refuse to be stuck counting, weighing, and measuring for the rest of my life. I would much rather finally learn (after 30 years it's about time) how to eat healthy. As far as craving Oatmeal goes...I agree with everyone else. If you're in phase 2 get the Oatmeal that's good for you and enjoy it. If you're still in phase 1, just know you will be able to enjoy that Oatmeal again real soon. Good Luck with your cravings, but that's why we need phase 1, because our bodies are used to being treated badly. It takes a little time to cleanse our bodies and get rid of those cravings for unhealthy foods.

Diet Snobbery- Anyone else notice this?
Well I just have to say thanks alot! I was supposed to be cleaning my house, but this thread has just kept me coming back. I had to read to the very end. And now I HAVE to comment. And I MUST say, what is the problem everyone has with growth hormones? Our parents have been feeding them to us, their parents to them, and so on! So it must be good for you! Why does everyone have to go and change the way things have been for ever? Obviously Growth Hormones and NON organic is the BEST way! Quit arguing and just do it my way, because as you can see, it's working for me! I also love CTLSS signature: The hippopatamus is a vegetarian and looks like a wall. Lions who eat only red meat are sleek and slim. Could it be that human nutritionists are on the wrong track? ~Erma Bombeck~ But I must say that it actually discourages me, because once again it goes to show that it is the exercise that you do that really matters! The hippo eats well but sits around and lazes ALL day, but the lion is constantly on the move and has to chase its food, so all the calories it takes in is being burned! UGH Thanks ALOT again!!! Okay, now that you all realize I am better than you, I am off to my housework now :) have a great day!

Weight loss rate and time to goal is not useful
I love this site, and it has helped me so much. I love the food database, it has almost everything and if it doesn't have an item you can add it! I think that is awesome. But they are right that the weight loss amount is incorrect, even when I was weighing in only once a week it would do the same thing. I once weighed in after a week and had lost 4 pounds it told me I was losing weight rapidly at 28 pounds a week! I thought that was so funny. I thought it was because I was only weighing in once a week, so I changed to every day and it still does the same thing. So I guess we just need to see the humor in it, and know that it is not correct. Remember we are all in this journey together all because of Fat Secret...and for that I am thankful :)

tendonitis and exercise
Welcome to FS Victoria! Walking really helps me, so if that's all you can do for now, then it's a start. I only have two boys (and a dog) but we get up in the morning and all take a walk together before I go off to work. I know it must be so much harder to get everyone ready in the morning, but I have found that it helps me to get the kids involved. So work around your schedule and see about getting the whole family moving in September :) Good Luck with your weightloss journey, hope to see you along the way! ~Donna

Water Retention
So I definitely retain water. I try and drink a ton - like over the recommended 64 ounces a day. Should I drink more water or cut back? Recommendations for water retention issue?

Too much food.
I am having trouble with portion control. Eating healthy foods jut too much. I am going to spend the extra $$ and buy individually packaged food. I hope that will motivate me to just eat 1 portion.
