I don't understand...
How can a person can gain 3 lbs in two days! I know I didn't exercise this weekend but come on...3 lbs?! I know weight can go up and down a few ounces everyday but I didn't think it could go up a few pounds! Especially since I didn't eat bad. Any ideas as to how 3 lbs in 2 days is possible?

Can't get the number on the scale to go down!
I've been hovering around 183 for awhile now and was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on how to rev up my metabolism? I already take a b12 complex vitamin and have recently added workouts with resistance bands. I researched both and seems that they are supposed to do the job. But I just can't seem to get that number to budge!

Injured knee
While jogging last night I twisted my knee. All of my exercise tapes require bending my knees or getting down on the floor. Any suggestions on exercises that do not require putting any stress on the knee? I'm afraid to take a couple of days off to rest my knee.

Stranger Danger
I jog at night alone and am usually the only female doing so. I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood right across the street from a very dark park. It really started to freak me out so I got some pepper spray. Although I'm still the only female out there at night I feel a whole lot better. It isn't expensive and its amazing how such a little canister can make you feel a whole lot safer. I would recommend getting some and carrying it at all times! Stay safe =D

I've been getting conflicting advice lately. I've always been told to drink eight glasses of water a day. But lately I've had people telling me that the eight glasses a day isn't correct. I've been told that the amount of water people need to drink varies from person to person. Which actually kinda makes sense. We are all different after all. But if that is the case, how do I know how much water I am supposed to drink in one day?

What was the catalyst that made you decide to lose weight?
Running into an old really honest friend did it for me. I went over to her house with my daughter (not yet a year old at the time) and when she got in the car she said "WOOOW Your arms are HUGE!" And that was her being nice. Eventually when I didn't take her subbtle hints she went straight for the throat and told me flat out that I was fat and needed to get rid of the weight. I admit that it really hurt my feelings. But oh boy did it light a fire under my butt. I got really tired of hearing her tell me I'm fat so I got up and did something about it. Its pretty funny when I think about it now though. Cause now she is telling me that I have become obsessed with loosing weight and it isn't healthy. Gee, I wonder why?!?

I just got some resistance bands and I was wondering if they are going to help me slim down in size or if I will stay the same size and just build muscle? Cause I'd really like to slim down first.

How much weight can a person gain in two weeks?
I've been thinking about taking the rest of the year off. But I'd like to know how much I could possibly gain by doing so. Its not gonna be a free for all I'm just gonna let myself have some pie or maybe a cookie or two over the next couple of weeks. But if I can gain a whole lot of weight by doing so then it really isn't worth it. Anyone have an idea how much a person can possibly gain in two weeks?

what is your goal weight, 5'3 and 5'4 ladies?
I'm 5'4" and have a medium frame. People always think I'm exactly 20 pounds less than what I actually am lol. CW 151.8 lb GW 150 lb UGW 145 lb
