"Would it not be better to weight 110 pounds and look like you weight 95 pounds?" This quote from Pixidaisy is so on the money I can't stand it. It needs to be entered in the contest for 'best post' or something similar. My point has been made. You all rock. Every single one of you, no matter where you are at. Love, PishPosh PS We are all in this together.

Please suggest a routine exercise
I gleaned what works for me from Power 90. It takes ten minutes and then I'm done. The weight loss says it all. 3 neck rolls 3 shoulder roll both directions 120 simultaneous knee raises/arm raises 1000 steps of 'x' work (jogging in place) 40 sets of 'fighters' arm punching 20 leg kicks out front and out to the side from the hip both legs after ten minutes finish with 2 minute gentle movement cool down.

WW healthy Guidelines, power foods and activity points
I am a very independent sort so am not needing anything more structured than what is offered here at FatSecret. I find my own journaling and weigh-ins are all I need. I developed my own diet by reading and implementing the GenoType Diet. Then I add a weekly Spyke and have lost 32 pounds of fat, not water or muscle since April 1. And it's still coming off. That is my suggestion. Hope it helps.

HELP!!!!!
Thanks to you, I zipped on over (I zip now, since my twenty pound weight loss - gosh it feels good) to WebMD and got my personalized Diet Plan. Pretty good if I don't say so myself. One thing for sure, it encouraged me to go out there and ride a second horse this evening. And friends...just the fact that I'm riding again is pure heaven. Hard work getting them all brushed, tacked and ready but it is wonderful. Love, PishPosh

throwing hay
I'm at once ashamed and relieved that my son and husband throw my hay for me. But on Mother's Day my husband finally taught me how to run the New Holland, a huge tractor. What fun! Now I see why men don't turn the big machines over to us more readily. They're FUN! And of course the men don't want us to know they are out there running the big machinery, sitting on their butts, getting paid for it and them come home all tired. Sheesh.

Any good tunes?
I was in the bank today. I heard Huey Lewis and the News singing "Hip to Be Square." I thought of YOU!" I could hardly keep myself still!

Before and After, anyone?
Holy Smoke! All of these before and after pictures are fantastic. They add fuel to my fire. Great job all of you!

Eating before a morning workout? What do you do?
Try a single cup of black coffee, one third of a banana and do a few of the morning graces (make bed, start a load of laundry) while you wait for the caffeine to take effect. Think positive, picture yourself thin and go to it!

Eating for the sake of eating...
I have a couple things that work for me. I haven't used it this time around but I will take a York Peppermint Pattie, break into fourths and melt them in my mouth drinking copious amounts of water between 'quarters'. The other thing I do, and I have done this three or four times since my weight loss began one month ago: a heaping teaspoon of smooth peanut butter, savoring it one smacking bite at a time. That and standing up and doing the 'move for a minute' seem to be my best allies. My move for a minute includes three head rolls, three shoulder rolls, shoulder stretches and then either arms punches, leg kicks or leg and arm raises. It's working for me. Perhaps these tips can work for you???

BACK TO THE FUTURE
I would look at myself and say, "Good Lord girl. Why did it take you so long to learn how to cook? Don't you know that the coming generation is THIS CLOSE to losing out on the normalcy of eating good, healthy, fresh and nutritious food altogether? Now do your part. Don't quit now. Get crackin'!"

not diet related, but
Take the high road. You were invited? Purchase a very thoughtful gift, get dolled up and go. If a heart-to-heart is to happen you have to do your part. Sound's like he is doing his! Let by-gones be by-gones. No one can do that for you.

200 lbs, here I come
Good work Jason. I'll give myself four extra flights of stairs in your name. I have a white board at the top of the stair way and put goofy goal stuff on it. Picture an ocean liner, a few seagulls and a shopping bag for the port -o calls!

Not a diet question but I just need an honest opinion/comments...BE HONEST PLEASE
I've read through all the posts and have nothing to offer except this worthless tid bit. When I first read your question what popped into my own head, and I can only use my own reality as a frame of reference, I thought the term 'undesirable people' was referring to fat people. I kid you not. See how it goes? No matter who we are, where we are or what we are doing we are very capable of turning it in on ourselves. And one note about twins. My husband always wished for twins. "Two little blonde girls," he would say. "So they can kiss me on the the cheeks at the same time." ~PishPosh

Am i the only one? (a bit rhetorical)
[quote=Huskerland3]When i go work out at night.. i pick the machine that faces the excercise class door. I totally do this to check out the girls while there are in there zumba-ing it up. Bad? Gotta share this Portabella Feast!
Thank you for this. I grabbed a bunch of small portobello mushrooms at the grocers on Saturday with no need for them. Now I have the perfect use. Dinner tomorrow evening. Again, thank you! -PishPosh

Poo before a weigh in?
Heck yeah, there's nothing wrong with it. I take my watch off. If my wedding ring had anything even resembling 'weight' to it I would take that off, too. Bless you for becoming one of the brave. I see you have 5 kg/11 pounds to lose to reach your target weight. This should be a breeze. What I might reach out and suggest (don't you love unsolicited advice?) is take it from me and use prudence and keep that 5 kg in check forever and always. I'm an old lady who foolishly had way too much fun letting her self go. What's the old saying? If you're going to let yourself go, make sure you can get yourself back. PishPosh
