What has been your experience with Intermittent Fasting
There have been all kinds of new studies lauding this way of eating, not only for weight loss, but also for a potential against alzheimer's, MS, diabetise. One of my main questions is: Do you get over the hunger. I've started two days ago (16:8) I'm hoping my body will get accustomed to it. Please do tell of your pros and cons!

I don't follow it, but it's a very restrictive diet. Your best bet is to get recipes books on it, and make yourself 'go to recipes'. best of luck.

marykitwan1, I find when I gave up processed foods and started eating clean, the cravings subsided. I ate clean a very long time, but lost no weight. Reason being I was eating too many fruits, and too big of portions. But the cravings for bad food left. It wasn't cravings I was dealing with, my issue was with portion control.

well that is very odd that I no longer have one. I'm looking under 'Food Diary where we plug in our meals. I have two icons, one for copies and one for setting. am i looking in the right place?

everyone has them. how do you deal with them? how long do they last? How often do you give in and what do you do about it after? Let's see if we can inspire and be inspired... I myself, find that they can become obsessive. Some times, they don't go away and will last a whole evening. Some times, they come and go in the same evening, but they sort of gnaw at me. I know if I'm tired, I give in to them. I wonder why we have them....

You may be right! And, she looks absolutely great. My worry is that she wants to go down to 93 lbs. That is a sure sign that there is something wrong.

I am 5,2, and i've never in my life weighted 102lbs. I would have been too skinny as a youth and as an adult, even with small bones. You don't need weight loss, you need to seek counselling because you're playing with your health. Don't go down a path you'll dearly regret. Too much is as bad as not enough. And not enough is as bad as too much. Take care of yourself.

Sunday is Fasting day
I've recently heard about a lot of health benefits of fasting (not just the weight loss it may provide). And this is my second day doing it. And as coincidence would have it, I've just seen this post. I actually quit smoking this way years ago. I had decided to only smoke after a certain time in the evenings. So, after implementing this routine, my cravings were after 6pm only. When it came time to quit smoking altogether, the cravings were only in the evening - much easier to deal with than if I had cravings all through the day.

how to remove rice from diet?
is there a reason why you must have the smell in your environment? Maybe start by going with brown rice, it's healthier, apparently .

I can't wrap my head around how some people are so clueless about nutrition, with the internet and all of the info circulating. Especially how they go about eating junk day in and day out thinking nothing of it. Honestly, it's beyond me.
